Great music, but VIP package is not worth it
I splurged and bought the top of the line VIP package since this was going to be my one Adam Ray event this year. Early admission was good - it meant no crowds and easy access to all the exhibits. There was major price gouging on T-shirts and programs, typical to rock concerts. The program was very disappointing - it was almost all pictures and very few words - how about some articles about the music? The food was good though. The lounge opened late and there was a long line for food. He seemed rushed during the "meet & greet" with Anthony Daniels. We never really had any time to converse with him. My daughter wanted to ask questions like "what was it like to wear the C-3PO costume?" but there was never an opportunity. In short, I don't think I got my money's worth for the Platinum VIP package. He came in, spoke a few words to us as an audience, then we formed a line for pictures with him. I've had much better experiences standing in long autograph lines at the Star Wars Celebration. Go for the music and the exhibit and you will be happy.
